I’ve been a PC and table top gamer for ages, starting with the Atari, 5.25 drives, and a lot of dice. I was introduced to Warhammer 40k at age 11, but only recently picked it up again. I currently both run and play in a number of D&D campaigns including running one for Daemon and Sister of Battle. I maintain a collection of thousands of miniatures which I look forward to sharing through articles and photographs, mostly of aircraft smashing the navies of Daemon and Lush into bits, dragons munching on their troops, and fancy sci-fi tanks running over their infantry. My goals is to help our readers find new games/units/aspects of play to enjoy. Also to find as hillarious a death as possible for every playing piece on any given board.

MEET OUR TEAM
For Noms and Victory...
We are a group of gamers who felt a need for a better conversation regarding all things dice. Many of the sites we visit for our favorite games start off with good intentions and devolve into elitist communities. Our hope is to foster a community that takes a positive attitude towards gaming. We will be discussing table top war games, miniatures, role playing games, plus there will be content from guest contributors.

I was always a lover of RPGs, from Atari on up, but it wasn’t until I DM’d my first tabletop D&D game that I discovered my one true love: killing PCs in new and interesting ways. I suppose all DMs become dinosaurs when the new edition comes, and I’m no exception – coming to it late as I did I’m stuck in 3/3.5E. Thanks to Funiculus’ infectious geekdom, I’ve expanded my collections of miniatures and losses in equal measure, and I look forward to the day I can stuff a dragon with Ex-Lax and fly it over his head. Until then, I’ll be helping out by playing his punching bag for our various “Let’s Play” and Review columns, and ranting about the various things time and WotC have ruined besides my hairline.

I was never in to gaming until Funiculus introduced me to Jedi Knight Dark Forces II. Things have gone down hill since with a massive pc gaming collection, a foray into the console world and then an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons. I spent many days reading the Player Handbook, crafting different players and obsessing about collecting every miniature. From there it moved to Warhammer 40K, Axis and Allies miniatures, and a plethora of board and card games. I lose the vast majority of the games I play but I go down swinging. Always something about critical failure rolls. I will be discussing various games from the underdog and noob perspective, giving tips on how to improve your skills without cheesing.
